Today we had a meeting chaired by Janet where she discussed the advantages of blogging and the common mistakes made when blogging on behalf of a company. She elaborated on the fact that your blog should represent your company honestly and realistically. Many times blogs get too personal, employees may get too relaxed with their readers and express too much personal information about themselves or the company. When blogging on an more personal and indivual level, its important to 'sell yourself'. There were many points made about blogging and how to do it right, such as:
Posting regularly
Proper writing
Not to give up
Now onto business plans. Its finally begining to take shape. It took me a while to wrap my head around my 'fake' business but I am learning a lot about the actual steps in consultancy. This morning we breifly discussed the financial element of the business plan.
